SAS Institute, a leader in the field of advanced analytics, faced brand challenges that prompted the development of a digital-first campaign across industries in the EMEA region. The solution was to utilize big data to promote big data solutions, by creating the world's first city ranking based on machine learning, and collecting the largest amount of data ever recorded.
We developed PARADISE FOUND by using SAS tools to design a self-learning algorithm that determined "paradise on earth" from over 148,233 locations, ultimately selecting West Perth, Australia as the winner. West Perth then became the central focus of the digital multi-channel campaign, which targeted 31 global markets. Additionally, we used parts of the data set to create the "Paradise Configurator," a tool that enables users to find their own personal paradise on the web.
